Before Leaving On Your Big Adventure
| Check and do the following: |
INTERIOR
Lighting (check bulbs and turn off lights)
Refrigerator and freezer
A/C and heater
Fire extinguisher
Close doors, drawers, windows and vents
EXTERIOR
Tire pressure and tread
Brakes
Retract steps
Close and lock all doors and compartments
Water level in batteries
LP tanks (fill and turn valves off)
Exterior lights (running, brake, back up and turn signals)
Condition of power cords and adapters
Lower antennas and/or fold down satellite dish
Disconnect water hoses and power cords
Trailer lights, hitch and sway bar connections
Stabilizer levelers should be up and wheel chocks removed and stowed
Keys (RV, vehicle, storage bins, padlocks)
Flashlight
Extra batteries or charger
Heavy duty extention cord
Electricians tape and Duct tape
Extra light bulbs and fuses
Waste water chemicals
Fresh water hose
Fresh water pressure regulator
Sewer hose
Portable grey water tank
Tire gauges and wheel chocks
Level and leveling blocks
Emergency road flares/reflectors
